In a world of cookie cut, mass produced homes, furniture and accessories, Katia McGuirk Tile creates completely unique tile systems for traditional and contemporary lifestyles.  Katia McGuirk is a ti le artist, from Doylestown, Pa.  Educated at the Rhode Islan d School of Design, she has been producing tile in the proud tradition of Henry Mercer of the Moravian Pottery and Tileworks for over two decades. Katia combines this age old art form with a fun, colorful, contemporary touch. Dedicated to the ideals of the Arts and Crafts movement her tiles are a labor of love. Each tile goes through at least 8 hand processes. When considering Katia’s tiles, the architect, designer or homeowner has latitude to make their design completely unique and individual, an expression of self with enduring style and beauty.
